We make hat boxes in both round and rectangular shapes. Round hat boxes have been the traditional choice for dress hats, fedoras and formal headwear, while rectangular boxes are generally better suited to caps, beanies and more casual hat styles. We usually construct them from heavy duty corrugated or stiff board. We can add internal bracing or risers to help the hat maintain its shape and not move or collapse inside the box during shipment.
Lift-off lids are the most practical closure style for round hat boxes but rectangular boxes can use tuck-end, lid-and-base or magnetic closure designs depending on the level of presentation you’re going for. Many hat brands use the box itself as an extension of their visual identity , especially for limited releases or collaboration pieces . Full-color printing , foil stamping , and embossed branding are all options .
